I was on the radio last night, KPXQ 1360AM, being interviewed by the Pastors from Roosevelt Community Church. They invited me to answer the question, “What is an Anglican?” It was crazy, chaotic, mostly “off the cuff” and a whole lot of fun. I did my best to try and articulate some of what it means to be an Anglican.

Shane — you were awesome! There was no craziness but that which was fun and kept the deep interesting. You know how to play along, and you were excellent at staying on track. You know your Anglicanism and articulated well so much information. And most of all, you lifted up Jesus as being foremost in it all. May I say it?… I’m so proud of you.

Dear Shane,
I can’t believe you got on the radio and did something so dry! It was like your sermons. I fell asleep 14 times! LOL. Gotta keep pulling your chain.
Seriously, it was one of the best presentations on the subject that I’ve heard. You are so gifted in expressing God’s Word and the truth about the church universal and Anglicanism in particular. At least that’s from one non-cradle Anglican to another.
I am so blessed to be at St. George’s: The Word both preached and taught, the grace of the sacraments, Christ’s Real Presence at Communion, grace and a non-progamatic, non-performance oriented, heart-felt approach to reaching the un-churched and de-churched downtown as well as in each of our daily lives.
